Kim introduces us to her drink for the day. The Cran-tropical Mimosa, which is made up of 25% cran-tropical and 75% champagne. Thomas’ morning walks bring him joy. Kim recommends ‘the book “Attached, The New Science of Adult Attachment And How It Can Help You Find -And Keep- Love” by Dr. Amir Levine and Rachel Heller. She shares the attachment styles the bookdiscusses and what Thomas’ attachment style is based on the quiz.
Thomas Introduces the people behind the G & V of our production, Garrison and Veronica 8:52 and reflect on their individual podcasts, Totally Judging and G-Talk. The group discusses the most challenging thing in starting a pod- [32:17] Veronica ask what have the Branch’s gotten from doing the pod. Then we move on to the main topic, where is the line between harmless fun and disrespect [36:30] After the main topic wrapped, we took questions from our socials. Episode 5; Friends!

Thomas starts the episode by telling what we’re drinking; Ole Smokey Cookie Dough Whiskey. This drink is simply Ole Smokey Cookie Dough Whiskey on a cube of Ice. Kim talks about how both of her children working brings her joy. Time for the Branch Recommendation! [3:03] Today’s recommendation is provided by Thomas who believes ’Never Eat Alone’ by Keith Ferrazzi is a must read. We get to the main topic, friendship. [7:12] We talked about how we maintain friendships as a married couple. Kim explains how she believes good communication is the key for maintaining out of state friendships and how planning is a good way to keep up with busy friends. [11:30] Thomas talks about shifting friendships (friendships that change after life events.) [16:00] A question about pet peeves with your friendships leads to Thomas venting about late people [24:55] Thomas asks the question, can adults be platonic friends. [39:02] This question prompts a discussion about boundaries in friendships and who sets them.[44:05] Kim refers to her blog, in which she and Thomas co-wrote an blog about friendships were they both go deeper regarding their friendships. Episode 4; Shauna Please!

We start the pod off wishing everyone a happy new year! It’s the first day of 2023 and Kim is sharing her drink for the day. It’s called the Last of 2022 Mimosa, because it’s made with everything leftover in the fridge from 2022. A little bit of
Milos Lemonade, Peach Pineapple juice, OJ, Pineapple Juice, and last but not least a little bit of Prosecco!
Thomas shares how his friends bring him joy! Then he provides the Branch recommendation for this episode[3:14]. Thomas recommends a show on Netflix called Half Bad: The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself
